The Angkas drivers went to the MRT3 North Avenue station as early as 6 AM.
Sabi ng isang driver, nakapag-service na sila ng total of 140 MRT3 passengers for free. Dagdag nito, kaya nilang makarating ng Ayala Station sa Makati City in only 25 to 30 minutes.
The motorcycle drivers had planned to provide free rides (at free helmet) to train passengers from 5 AM to 8 AM during Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. As of the moment, the free ride has been put on hold as the group vowed to seek a permit from the authorities. The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board had said that Angkas drivers are considered colorum and similar to the prohibited habal-habal because they have no LTFRB-approved insurance. The LTFRB had also said that motorcycles could not be considered as transport providers. |
